Xbox Linux Install
I'm trying to install linux on my Xbox.I downloaded the Xebian iso and burned it to CD, but the Xbox couldn't read it. I then used E-vox's FTP server to copy the Xebian image over to the harddrive and boot from there. Now I have a menu item called linux, and when i click on it, it says "Uncompressing Linux.. OK, Booting the kernel" and then it finds the disk drives and network, but when it tries to mount the root filesystem, it says cannot find "/newroot", then has a kernel panic and says "Tried to kill init."
I don't know too terribly much about linux, but I'm guessing that this is caused by it trying to mount the fs image from a cd which isn't there.
Any suggestions on how to get it to correctly mount the filesystem and stop trying to kill init?
