I am wondering if it is possible to install knoppix version 5.1.1 onto my hardrive without alot of trouble,i love all the programs it has on the dvd and want it as one of my installed distros,i am not a linux newbee but don't do tarballs and not good at command line so if it is possible what is the easiest way to install it,love the way ubuntu and others have went with istall after you boot up from live disk,thank you

Knoppix was not really intended to be installed to the hard drive, but it's been done successfully many times. See this HowTo for all the details:
