i just downloaded a game (planeshift) and when i try opening it it says

i just downloaded a game (planeshift) and when i try opening it it says

No application suitable for automatic installation is available for handling this kind of file.
anyone know what application i need?
any help would be highly appreciated!

You're attempting to run a Microsoft Windows executable (EXE) file in Linux. This genrally won't work at all. EXE files are designed for Windows and Windows only. They won't run natively in Linux.

o whoops i thought i did click the Linux one but the turrets haven't been working for me so i clicked a mirror
