Hi and Welcome !
Post your Machine's specs here. Out of Range and Blank Screen errors pop u coz of unsupported Graphics Cards most of the time.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

When you boot Ubuntu, try using the option that uses vesa or framebuffer/fbdev.

Its a Graphics Card problem only. Have you tried daark.child's suggestion?
In case, that doesn't work, download Ubuntu Alternate Installation CD. It has text based installer and you wont have any installation problem. Its very easy to fix Graphics Problem after installation. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
