    Uninstall help...

    i tried to use Wubi to duel boot with Ubuntu, but when I would select it on start up, it would go through lots of stuff, then would just flash a black screen with text on it.
    So I went back to Windows and Uninstalled Wubi.
    Not my laptop wont start up...
    Its running VIsta.


    When I installed Wubi on my desktop everything went fine,but it was running XP.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Here's the Microsoft HowTo for restoring the Vista MBR.

    The two commands that you'd need to utilize are:

    /FixMbr
    /FixBoot

    I've been told that the latest version of the SuperGRUB LiveCD can now handle restoring the Vista MBR as well.
