Problem installing SL Linux using PXE and Kickstart

I'm running into a problem trying to use PXE and Kickstart to install Scientific Linux (SL) over a network on one of our servers.

Now, I do have DCHP and TFTP setup and running, it's after I reboot the machine and start the ks process that things start to go wrong. The server reboots, gets its network IP address from dhcpd.conf, starts pxe, finds its associated file under /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg and starts the SL installation.

The problem is that not matter how I work with the /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/ipname file during the SL installation SL keeps telling me that there is not enough RAM to install. The server then freezes until a hard reboot. I have edited the ipname file to tell the linux kernal the ram size

ie
ramdisk_size=4096
and
ramdisk_size=4096000

and still no luck trying to get past the "Not enough RAM To install SL CERN"
