    down load help ?

    I have a question but not sure where to ask it. I have seen on linux distro watch a linux version called feather....
    Here is the problen ..When I click on the file it just come out as test all over my screen and does not open as a download. Am I doing something wrong ?

    instead of left clicking the link. right click the link and select "save link as ... " or "save link target as ..." or similar option. you'll get the download window.

    Thanks thats exactly what I needed

    That worked. I just do not know why some links do not act the same as other though. I just assumed I had something wrong or maybe it was not the right link for me.
    Sometimes they work and open the download box and other times its just text.. but now I know at least how to get the text ones as a download
