    Sound module


    Hi, i was wondering where I can get a sound module from. The chip is ES1869. I searched all over the internet (using google) but couldn't find anything...plz help...much appreciated....if it is any help... i am running slackware 8.1!!

    The sound module comes with the distro; you just use the standard sound blaster module (sb.o), that also incorporates support for ESS chips. If it can't autodetect the chip properly, try passing the parameter "esstype=1869".
