ASUS M2A-VM HDMI S-ATA DVD-ROM failure
Hi everybody,
While trying to install Linux (VDR Mahlzeit 3.2 / 4.0 beta 2 based on LinVDR) on my new computer I always receive an error message that says Linux couldn’t find my S-ATA DVD-ROM drive.
My computer’s specs are:
• ASUS M2A-VM HDMI mainboard with Athlon 64 SAM2 4800 X2 and 2 GB RAM
• SATA LG GSA-H66N DVD-ROM and
• SATA WD5000YS harddisk
Although I installed the most recent BIOS (1604) and tried different BIOS settings the installation wasn’t successful, yet.
I appreciate any help.
Best regards,
toolix
