I attempted to install Redhat 8 on a box that has a Promise FastTrack SCSI controller. After configuring the hardware mirror I got he drivers which forced me to install Redhat 7 (enigma).

After the installation of the FastTrack drivers the machine wouldn't boot of the hard disk. I did create a boot disk however and the machine boots perfectly of this machine.

How can I change the configuration on the disk to boot? (I'm using the lilo boot loader)
