Problem while installing Fedora 8

K I burned the dvd of the i386 Fedora 8 from the Fedora Project website. I changed my cd drive to run before my hard drive.

Then it put me to a screen where it said
Install or upgrade an existing system
Install or upgrade an existing system(text)
Rescue installed system
Boot form local drive
Memory Test

I chose the first and it started installing I think then it stopped after it introduced anaconda and its last thing was

running instal...
running /sbin/loader

Is this just a matter of time I waited about 3 minutes and gave up, just want to make sure I chose the correct choice up above.

Have you tried selecting Second option? It might be a Graphics Card problem and second option ( text based ) will sort it out.
In case it doesn't work, post your machine's specs here.

Its great. Had a few problems getting used to it the first couple of days, but thanks for your help.
