i tried checking the cd but even that was slow,
burned it disc at once as an iso image some time ago.. it worked on the travelstar the first time i installed xubuntu but i never got around to networking with it because i found the 20 gig and threw xp on that. with the flexibility i threw linux back on.
i only wanted 1 partiton. well two if you count the swap. the installer gets to 48% and then itll stop
itll say something like
%48
Copying files
8:12 left
then after 5 minutes itll say
copying files
2340:35 left.
and another case it said the installer crashed so honestly i have no idea
