    Now posting from windows!!

    I got tiried but..... i enjoy it!

    I have a very general view of linux and i would like to learn more about these files and their modifications.(menu.list,fstab......).
    What kind of documantation should i read?

    Glad it's all working

    There is a good tutorial on grub here, and the manual also comes in handy. You can google fstab entries and you should soon find something like this. But you may also want to take a look here first. You can find tutorials and how-to information on the forums, there is also lots of useful information on the Ubuntu website.
