Virtual Linux 1.1 (Tiger Edition)
Virtual Linux 1.1 (Tiger Edition) is basically the Mandrake 8.1 Linux operating system, modified to run directly from your cd rom drive. It can be run with or without a hard drive. This is great for showing people the power and flexibility of Linux. You can put the cd in your cd rom drive and reboot....and you will soon have a powerful Linux system at your disposal...all without the hassles of loading new software or repartioning your hard drive or any of that technical stuff. You will need to set up your computer's bios to boot allow booting from the cd rom drive if it isn't already set up to do that. A good configuration for the computers bios (startup options) that works for most computers is :
1. Boot from floppy disk
2. Boot from cd rom
3. Boot from hard drive
If you don't have a clue how to do this... you should probably find someone who does..as screwing up your computers bios settings is a VERY BAD thing to do, and can render your computer pretty useless till you fix it. So know what your doing before you screw around with the bios settings!
With Virtual-Linux 1.1 you get about 1.6 gigabytes of software.. all compressed onto one cd rom. This is thanks to cloop compression. You can run the entire operating system from your computer and NEVER use your hard drive if you don't want to. During the setup, a link is created to your hard drive and labeled "hda1" . You can use image processing or text editors or whatever else you want to use and save your data back to your hard drive so you can use the data again...in your normal operating system.

You may wish to remove your ad in your tag line so your post may not end up getted hacked off.
You also forgot to mention that not all burners are capable of correctly burning a iso image because they don't support rawwrite methods. So you may pay for the download and not be able to burn it.Dan
