With a supported processor, I'd imagine you can install it on just about any hardware. The minimum usable specs will depend on what you actually want to do with it.

Recommended configuration (from my working knowledge)
Celeron 1 GHz with 256 MB minimum RAM with 10 GB HDD space.
256 mb ram minimum is needed if you want to install in graphical mode, but if you are ok with text mode installation, even lesser will work, but the system will be really slow..
