Installation - No root partition (/) found
Using Partition Magic 8.0 I created a 25 GB Active Primary Partition with 500 MB of primary swap partition. However, when I try to install Fedora Core 1 I get an error message: "You have not installed a root partition (/) which is required for installation of Fedora Core to continue."
How do I install a root partition (/)?

you need to format it and set a mount point for it in /etc/fstab.. the fedora installer should do that for you when you tell it to format the partition..
