kernel panic when installing rh 7.2
get error when trying to install from cd

linux rh 7.2
pcchips m810lr with athlon 1400
hd=samsung 40gig
onboard video,sound,and lan
512 memory

The only times I have seen this error is when the loader can't find the Kernel during the beginning of the install. I would check my iso's against the MD5sum's

I don't think you're getting a kernel panic before the kernel is booted, right?

used different board
used different mainboard and it works fine now. thanx. (i think it was some kind of compatability issue.)
