Help installing Linux for the first time...
Hello,
This is my first time posting here, so I hope my question is appropriate. I remember in college, there were a group of people that would install Linux on your machine for you, if you brought your computer to them. They would do this on a weekly or monthly basis (can't remember). I was wondering if there is any such help in my area, or anybody I could take my computer to, to have Linux installed on it. How do I contact people that could do that? Thanks.

goto google and search for the name of the city you live in + "LUG" (linux user group).
eg, i live in london so i would search for:
"london LUG".
