I found that iso .9755 version is lagging support for removing Grub, so I used .9598 instead. However, removing Grub did not make Windows ...

Sorry for this late answer.
I found that iso .9755 version is lagging support for removing Grub, so I used .9598 instead. However, removing Grub did not make Windows bootable. The machine kept rebooting. I decided to reinstall WinXP after all.
I appreciate your help.
