compact flash problem..urgent help!!
i had 2 flash cards that work with my arm boards..
they contained rootfs(ext2) on them so that they booted well..
i ,by chance deleted all files in the root folder of the flash...
i formatted the card, and in the hope that this would work..
i copied all files(everything ) in the second compact flash to 1st..
then i tried to use that again ..so that kernel picks it too(kernel is in nand)...
but unfortunately,
during booting up it gives warning:
unable to open initial console...nothing goes forward...
please let me know the solution.i want the exact copy of the earlier flash card..as both were same in all respects...
please help...urgent!!
thanks

Hi,
Can you get the two compact flash card setup on the same system and boot linux such as linux is running but not running off of one of the flash cards?
How much data is on each card?
Are they the same make, model and size of card?
