bootloader
Hi

At the moment I am dual booting between windows XP home and knoppix on my laptop. However I cannot load knoppix without a boot disk that i made from using loadlin. I want to install a bootloader, preferably lilo. But I really have no idea how to go about doing it. I have windows on partition /dev/hda1 and knoppix on /dev/hda5 (i think this is the root partition). Does anyone know a way in which i can succesfully get lilo working?
Thanks a lot

I don't know how "set" you are on the idea of using LILO. But may I suggestion using GRUB? I find it to be 400% better then LILO especially with multi-OS computer systems. GRUB and information about it can be found here::
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/
Look into it it is a fantastic bootloader.
