    Red face flash player

    Hi all I am Really new to Linux after a life time on windows so could someone help me with a flash player problem.
    I have downloaded flash 9 from the adobe site i installed it using package manager and it said all done but when i go onto a site that needs flash player it says i don't have it.

    can someone help me at command line maybe, but it needs to be idiot proof

    I've found that installing Adobe Flash player can be pretty tricky business. What distribution are you using?
