    boot problem

    ok i just got a everex cloud book and i saw the Ubuntu 8.04 in the update manager,after i updated it and restarted it started with this scan thing and i let it run for 9 hours befor i stoped it and rebooted the computer again but i still havent been able 2 log bac in its goes to this test screen i need help. im new to this idk how to install nothing[IMG][/IMG]

    Welcome to the forums!

    I'm unable to make any of that out because it's so blurred. You might need to reinstall the OS from scratch, but I was thinking that the Cloudbook came with gOS, and not Ubuntu.

    You might need to return it to Everex if you want reinstall, or I've heard that you can pull the hard drive, put it in another machine and install gOS, then return the drive to your own machine, but it voids any warranty.

    Maybe someone that has one and has been through this will reply.
