adding wireless pcmcia card at boot time

Hey all, I've got slackware 9.0 on a dell laptop. I also have an orinoco gold pcmcia card. The card works fine, but it doesn't get an IP address at boot. I have to
    Code:
    su -c "dhcpcd eth1 up"
to get an IP assigned to the card. I was wondering what is the best way to have this happen when the laptop first boots.

    thanks in advance

I can't really help you much with this, since I don't have slackware, but try looking in the PCMCIA setup scripts (check /etc/pcmcia), and try to figure out how they work, then add what you want to them. Providing noone with slackware experience can help you more precisely, that is.

in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1, uncomment this line: USE_DHCP2=yes

or do it your way in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
