I am brand new to Linux! (What U could call a "Silver Surfer") I have just completed my first install & most things seem to "work out of the box" that is except my printer on the parallel port. I have searched a lot of the help pages and installed the recommended drivers. It seems to me that the port itself is probably not configured correctly.I have Googled extensively and tried to RTFM!! Can any one of you tell me how to check this e.g by using a sudo command? and then how to correct the problem?
