am installing redhat linux 4 am getting error disabling irq#11 in my pc alredy have service pack 2 so i have to install linux so pl anybody can help ...

Red Hat Linux 4 is very old now. you'd have better hardware support with a later release.
CentOS, or Fedora might be better options.

Use irqpoll boot option.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
