Does anybody know how to install a chess program ?

hello,

i am a chess trainer, and starting working with ubuntu know already.

i like this system very much what for a chess program is working with ubuntu?

i tried to install fritz chess software, but it didnt work.

i need a chess program working on ubuntu?

can somebody help me?

If you open System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager you can search for chess programs. There are a good few there from 2D simple style to serious looking 3D games. I'm personally a fan of Brutal Chess but if you search for 'chess' you should find enough to keep you going.
