    Yeah, right! Debian ships ppc distros as well. Then I, too, would suggest that you go with that.

    Lol, I'm still talking to the IT person at school about the freakin' error "block (something)". This was occouring every TIME i install yellowdog linux..or attempt to install .

    I'll try some other distros if this one doesn't work. This one l@@ked good though because it has Gnome/KDE which I'm very familiar with. Bah.

    Debian looked good! But gentoo looked a little complicated. I am a n00b.

    Gentoo is not hard to install, the documentation is quite good.

    really? i was looking at one of their pages and it was listing all this coding for installation. i want to be able to burn the ISO cds, pop them in and boot up for installation with a GUI installation. maybe im wrong ?o_O?
