Installing Linux on HP/Compaq tc1000 tablet PC
Hey guys my question is what is your opinion on which linux distribution to use when trying to install on a Compaq tc1000 tablet PC? I'm not new to linux, I've been using Ubuntu on my laptop for some time now I just need an operating system to be able to work efficiently on a 1ghz processor and 256 RAM...pen function dont have to work but it would be awesome if they could
Heres the link to the specs here
By the way I've read that you can get pen function to work with ubuntu if your using ubuntu for the tc1100 but its way to advanced for the tc1000, for anyone with the a tc1100
Thanks in advance!

Linux for tablet pc tc1000
I have a tc1000 and have installed Ubuntu, PclinuxoS and various others. I find "pardus 2007" to be the one I like. It finds everything out of the box.. Wireless, sound for WSM country & Pandora, Skype etc.
My #2 would be Linux Mint it also works great but I'm partial to Pardus.
I don't use the pen sys... I don't need it.
Regards.....
