si there any distro that can do this?
i have an old compaq computer, ive been trying to install sever versions of linux on it with no sucess
it currently has windows XP(service pack 2)
the CD rom drive is broken
and i can boot from flash drive as i get error messages on startup*
it has 50mb of ram
so i need a linux distro that can install on windows from a floppy that will run on a computer with 50mb, the only thing i need it for is to play music from my external hard-drive
*if i plug in my USB after windows boots it works fine but if i try to boot and book from disk and install that way i get "error 303, keyboard or device error" or something like that

You try a Debian Etch Net Install by burning these four floppies

Or you can download VLC exe. For Windows to a USB stick and install it from there. Its just a player though, Not a operating system.
