    Kernel panic : no init found


    Hello,
    I have the next error message when my Mandrake 10 booting :
    Kernel panic : no init found
    Try passing init option to kernel
    My boot loader is LILO.
    I don't understand where is the problem...
    Someone help me please ?

    Do you have a linux LiveCD such as Ubuntu or Knoppix that you can use? If not, please download Knoppix from here and burn it to a CD. When you have it ready, post back.

    Without knowing anything about your setup, it's hard to say exactly what the problem is or more importantly, how to fix it. With a LiveCD you can access a few important files on your hard drive and get it sorted out.
