Hardware not detected.
i have sata hdd,asus md, amd processor . i while installation the cd is not showing any devices to load into , although my hdd is connected . an error msg is being prompted that no device driver has been installed . installation has been done till the cd asks for partions please quote a solution

Which Linux distro are you trying to install?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

your linux cd's kernel do not support your hardware, try another one version higher. recommand fedora 7 or higher.
