    Mandrake 9.0 on a Compaq Evo N1000c

    I can get the OS to install but are having problems with the X server display. The box has the ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 card in it. I can't figure out how to make it work for my system. Does anybody have a solution?

    AFAIK your card is yet not fully supported by XFree86, but you can try a commercial x server. Take a look at http://www.xig.com/Pages/Atop/Laptop...ADEON7500.html[/url]

    Too bad this isn't shareware or freeware!!!

    thanks for the help but I don't wanna cough up 99 bux to get it to work. I figure, i will learn how to do it myself or wait long enough for XFree86 to catch up
