Running LILO on a secondary drive

    Hi,

I have drive where I put in a new kernel and then got LILO to boot up from it automatically without the prompt. It's giving me a kernel panic now, so I wish to revert back to a prompt. However since it's not even booting up, I can't run LILO on it. Is there any way I can connect the drive to another Linux box, and then run LILO remotely on it? How would I go about doing that?

    Thanks.

Is there any reason for not using GRUB? You can use LiveCD of any distro to fix lilo problem.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
