problem in vlc player installation
I try to install vlc player from source code. Error occurred when I give ./configure . It dose not create Makefile. Error :

checking for POSTPROC... no
configure: error: Could not find libpostproc.
What to do????

You have to install a lot of Libraries for VLC Complilation. I would suggest you to install it through your Package Manager only.
Which Linux distro are you using?It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Fedora 7 is very old. Is it possible for you to install latest version, Fedora 10?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
