Fedora 10 - Kernel panic

Hi everyone, I am new to the whole Linux thing, but I need it for my university...
So what I need is to Install Fedora 10, but every time i try it I get this error message: Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Can someone help me? I've tried many things and still nothing...
Please I need help!

My PC is formated, have one HDD partitioned into two drives (and have one extra but old only 2Gigs).
Motherboard is ASROCK Prescott 800 Dual core
with Pentium 4 3.0GHrz
with GeForce NVidia 4 TI 4200
512MB RAM

And running the Linux install from a USB DVD drive.

Thanks in advance!
