Please note: I posted this question in the newbie forum as well, but on further inflection deduced that it would be more appropriet to post it in this forum. If I should delete this here, then please respond stating so, and I will promptly delete this post.

I have a small box which I am installing Slackware flavoured Linux on. I am pretty new, but I set up a different box about 3 days ago. An identicall box actually. But this time I am encountering issues. I go through the installation, and I get to the end, and ctrl - alt - del. It restarts, and brings me too a black screen with a cursor flashing. Just a single underscore, on... off... on... off. Is this something you guys have encountered before.

where did you intall lilo and did you create a boot floppy? if so use floppy to boot into slackware

does this hd also have windows...?

btw did you create 2 threads???
