Install xp on rhel laptop?
I have a laptop having RHEL 5 install on it. I want to install xp in it (daul boot). since i am a linux noob so please post step by step instructions. I don,t want to lose the linux part.

Its a little bit tricky to install Windows OS after Linux. We have to check partition structure of your Hard disk first.
Execute this :
Post output here.Code:su - /sbin/fdisk -l
* Its small L in fdisk -l.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

As DC said, that is difficult, which is why it is always recommended to install Windows first, then Linux for dual-boot systems. Not to say it is impossible, but I don't know how to do it. In any case, if it were me, I'd install VirtualBox on my RHEL system and run Windows in a VM instead. Lots safer and easier, IMO. That's what I do most of the time when I need to run Windows.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
