    dual boot xp rhel5 help

    i have xp installed
    now i installed rhel 5
    linux working fine
    but windows BOOT ERROR
    ctrl+alt+del to restart

    wat shud i do??
    win repair will do or wat ???

    windows bootable cd not working
    windows live cd not working
    mount not working
    sda1 has no initialisation it says..
    how to recover data from C: windows???

    Boot into RHEL and login as root, run command: fdisk -l (lower case Letter L) and post the partition information you get here.

    Do you get the Grub menu with options for RHEL and windows (or maybe other) when you boot? Do you get the error after selecting windows from the boot menu? What exactly is the error you get trying to boot windows? Did you look at the /boot/grub/menu.lst file? I assume you have an entry for windows?
