Fedora 11 USB boot
Hello.
I installed Fedora 11 on a USB drive using liveusb-creator.
When Fedora boots up on my laptop, I end up looking at a blank screen. This screen has a gray radial gradient background. And nothing happens.
When I press Enter, a box appears. This box has a titled boarder. The title is "Password required".
I enter a password "root" and nothing happens, except that another box appears and then disappears. There is a message under that second box: "press tab for options" or something like that.
I press tab and nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me what is going on and how to start Fedora 11 from a USB device?
Thank you.

I'm not too sure what the problem here is, I've not had this error before but hopefully someone can chime in with some real help soon.
Have you tried entering the actual "root password" into the dialog box?

When you did the install, did it not ask you to create a root password?

"When you did the install, did it not ask you to create a root password?"
No, it did not. I don't think this is how installtion to USB works -- I think it just should let me in like the live CD. Anyway, that's how Ubuntu does it.

huh that figures, like I said, hopefully someone can chip in with some real help here. I've not had the pleasure of installing Fedora 11 yet. Sorry I couldn't be more useful.

Thank you, anyway.
I attached the "screen-shots" of what I see when booting Fedora 11 from a USB stick.

By the time I press the tab, the box shown on the second image disappears -- it shows up just for a second and then slides up off the screen. When I press tab nothing happens. If I press it many times, the thing starts to beep.
