    Hah! That worked, apparently. THANK YOU SO MUCH. This was getting to be a real headache. I was afraid to do this, because I wasn't sure if grub would overwrite something or not. I'm assuming it sets aside space? Anyway, I'll mess around with it for a day or so, and get back to let everyone know if the issue has truly been solved; I think it has.

    Well, it's been a few days and everything is still up and running just fine. Problem solved. Thanks everyone for all the help.
