.sh installation
hi. a user brought me his Acer Eee PC which has a basic Linux Xandros on it and asked me to install itunes on it. As there is no itunes for Linux I decided to do a search. I did and there were many suggestions as to installing Crossover Linux. I downloaded Crossover Linux but it has a .sh extension. Further searches regarding the .sh installations suggested that I run Crossover through terminal. I tried searching on the laptop for this "terminal" but could not find it. I guess the basic version of Xandros has no terminal. So, the bottom line, I have Crossover Linux but can not install it as it has a. sh extension and I don't know how to install it without a terminal. Any ideas? Thanks.

To access the command line interface from Easy Mode, type CTL-ALT-T simultaneously. This will open up a console window (terminal). From there you just type in the commands. Refer here on how to install software in linux.
