Xubuntu
Installing xutbunu on my desktop and having a problem with installing gets to 86% and says installing language packs, configuring language support translations-en. It's been like this for about one hour. Is any one else have this problem?
Compaq preserio
windows xp
xubuntu 9.04
also I'm using wubi installer from ubuntu.com

You can switch virtual terminals to see the install messages. I believe it's on tty 4 for the *buntus. When it freezes hit CTRL+ALT+F4. Hopefully there will be a helpful message indicating the problem.
It may be an issue of memory. How much RAM does your computer have?
