heismark Just Joined! Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 7	[Solved] GRUB rebooting PC My GRUB displays 2 or 3 lines and then automatically reboots the machine and this goes on forever. How can I solve this?

At the initial GRUB screen, you should remove quiet splash from the boot line, so you can look at the boot messages. heismark Just Joined! Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 7	Thanks, but I chose to reinstall and this time to remember to disconnect the USB hard drive. It had caused some problems as the usb drive was named first as sda and I intuitively installed to sda. Silly there is no popu warning to suggest to disconnect the usb drive and begin over. It was btw PCLinuxOS.
