New Partition in Windows XP Laptop !
Hello Everybody,
Hope you are doing great, today !
Is there a way to make a new drive with spare space in existing XP Partition without formating the system.
I have IBM Thinkpad X31 with only C: drive. I want to make D: drive with spare space and install linux OS on it.
Why because : I donot have bootable XP CD and my laptop does not support booting from external CD-ROM. That's why IBM has given "Recover to Factory" settings on boot menu.
Please help.
Thanks,
Naresh

Boot up something like parted magic and use gparted to resize.
This is for vista but the principle is the same.
