System Boot Fail (ubuntu + xp)
Hi,
I am new to linux installation.
I installed ubuntu 8.10 through windows.
I had dual bootup and everything was working fine.
I upgraded the ubuntu to 9.10. After upgrade completed it asked to do restart and when I hit restar its got stucked. I did hard reset and restarted.
Now its failed at booting only.

Your system last BOOT fail or POST interrupted
Please enter setup to load default and reboot again
Its not asking dual bootup option too.
I had windows XP installed on the same hraddrive too
And to my bad, i lost both the installation cd's.
Please help me on how to recover the windows bootup.
I had some important data and sw which I didn't took backup on windows
Please Please help

Use a Super Grub Disk to repair Windows Bootloader. If this is a wubi install of Ubuntu. After you boot up Windows. Go into your programs Start>Right Click and go to the Ubuntu Folder and Open it and run the uninstaller icon in there to uninstall wubi Ubuntu. If You want wubi 9.10. Start from scratch and download the wubi 9.10 exe.
