Loadlin???
Can I use Loadlin (or something else) to install a Linux distro (Linux Mint Helena KDE) from my desktop?
Have a dual boot of Linux Mint Helena Main and Windows XP on my PC, but only a cd-rom (no DVD drive) and would like to replace Linux Mint Main with Linux Mint Helena KDE. The latter comes as a 1.1 Gig Distro so can't be downloaded onto a cd. I can put it on either my Linux Main Helena or my Windows XP desktop.
Can I use Loadlin or some other program to install it? Have a 320 gig HD, so lots of space.
Thanks,
Dick

Check out UNetbootin, it works in Windows and Linux and will allow you to install many different versions of Linux.
