    Remote Installation of an Application

    Hi Guys,

    i have these doubt.

i have these windows XP machine (with cdrom) in one building. Then the RedHat in another building.

Is it possible to install an application (DB2 Connect CDrom) from my windows machine into the RedHat machine? I want it to be install locally into the redHat machine, but since it is in another building it is quiet hard to get there.

Since windowas doesn't have and NFS method (and I am not the administrator of teh windows machine) what can be a solution for it?

    Many thanks!!

Maybe the only way is to go to the other building and use the CD on the red hat machine?
