How to restore my igb.ko file?
I'm newbie in Linux i need your guide guys... I'm installing my LAN CARD driver, i just fallowing the read me file the one with the drivers.. it stated there that i need to remove "With 2.6 based kernels also make sure that older igb drivers are removed from the kernel, before loading the new module:" rm /lib/modules/<KERNEL VERSION>/kernel/drivers/net/igb/igb.ko "then the file was deleted. then i run the installation command " insmod /lib/modules/<KERNEL VERSION>/kernel/drivers/net/igb/igb.ko " but there was an error mssg. "the path cannot be found. how can i restore my "igb.ko" to continue my installation?
