    technology file installation problem for mentorgraphics

    Hi, I have a problem in installing the tar file in mentorgraphics in Linux. The problem is im getting the error at line 173: uudecode: command not found

    And i couldn't find instruction guide for installing this 65nm technology file...

    See if you have the executable uudeview installed on your system. That is the current replacement for both uudecode and yydecode. You can make a link from that to /usr/bin/uudecode possibly so that the tar file will not give you an error. If that doesn't work, then you will need to contact Mentor Graphics to deal with the problem most likely, or you will need to get source code for uudecode and build it on your system.
